SmartDoc - Overview

The SmartDoc feature is a Microsoft Word document template; the program and toolbar used by the SmartDoc are stored in this template. SmartDoc can be used in two ways:
- With the Applicant Tracking system to convert resumes (CV) into applicant profiles.
- In conjunction with SmartSimple reports, to merge information from SmartSimple reports into Word documents.
If you wish SmartDoc to be available at all times when using Word, you will need to install the SmartDoc template in your Microsoft Word startup folder, or specify in Word that this template must also be loaded.
SmartDoc will work with Microsoft Word version 2000 and XP. It will not work with Microsoft Word for the Macintosh.
