Folder Security

From SmartWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Folders created within an existing folder “inherit” the security of the higher-level folder.

If you can change the security at any level it will be changed for lower level folders.

In this example, you will enable everyone to access the External folder, and then restrict access to sub-folders to specific organisations.

1. Click the Lookup button – next to the Organisations allowed to view this folder.
